The agency has assisted the Central & State government agencies and other development organizations in bridging production & marketing gaps in agriculture, livestock & allied activities. It is pertinent at this point to make a mention that one of the major portfolios of SDS is business incubation and value chain development of small farmers in agriculture, poultry, fishery and other allied sector and organized them in farmer producer organization (FPO) for business integration and market linkage.

Job Location: Guwahati, Assam
- 1. Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships to achieve revenue targets.
- 2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- 3. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- 4. Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with organizations objectives.
- 5. Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, pitches, and presentations to prospective clients.
- 6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (communication, research, operations, finance, etc.) to design and deliver client-centric solutions.
- 7. Maintain an updated pipeline of leads and opportunities.
- 8. Track, analyze, and report business performance metrics to management.
- 9. Represent the organizations at networking events, conferences, and industry forums.
Candidates should be willing to undertake any additional responsibilities or tasks assigned by the organization.
- 1. Post graduate degree in Management or a related field.
- 2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the field of Business Development for Development Consulting Organizations.
- 3. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- 4. Strong understanding of development consulting.
- 5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- 6. Proficient in MS Office
- 7. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- 8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- 9. Willingness to travel for business as required
Salary: 6.9 LPA to 9 LPA Based on relevant Experience
