Name of Post: Executive (Research) No of Post: 01 Job Location: Guwahati, Assam Key Responsibilities 1.Understanding the research questions that need to answer. 2.Design Proposals, Samples and methodological framework. 3.Design an appropriate methodology to deliver the project. 4.Design and write survey questionnaires. 5.Mentor & guide the team of junior researchers. 6.Apply a range of research techniques to gather relevant information, including document analysis, surveys, case studies, digital survey, analytical tools and interviews, (face-to-face, telephone, and online). 7.Liaise with and direct social research field interviewers to gather information. 8.Gather information by directing or carrying out qualitative fieldwork. 9.Conduct reviews of relevant literature and evidence. 10.Analyze and evaluate research and interpret data using a range of analysis packages. 11.Prepare, present, and disseminate results in the form of reports, briefings, research papers, and presentations. 12.Offer research-based briefings and advice, which may involve writing action plans. 13.Advise external bodies on social policy. 14.Prepare and present tenders for new research projects, or respond to research tenders prepared by others. 15.Candidates should be willing to undertake any additional responsibilities or tasks assigned by the organization and travel across field areas of North-East and part of India as required. Requirements 1.Masters in Master in Economics/Rural Development/Social Work (Ph.D. candidates can also apply) 2.Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in the field of research and study in a relevant organisation.
